Survivor: Samoa was LoganWorm's second season in his series . The season began on April 16th 2012 and ended on May 5th 2012.
The season featured 20 castaways on two different tribes, Galu and Foa Foa. Unlike The Plains, this season featured no tribal switch until the merge. The main twist was that there were 4 idols, two being phony idols, that if played at tribal council would not work. These idols had a letter engraved on them. The real idols had another letter engraved on them.
Zach T. managed to beat out Erik E. and Cochran E. on a 6-2-0 vote. At the end of the season Emmett won Sprint's Player of the Season.
Kamika would end up returning to play in Redemption Island, placing 5th overall after the twist ended.
The season was the shortest season with 20 people totaling only 19 days throughout the entire season.
23 people applied, 3 were cut from casting, and 18 participated the whole season, with 1 quitting, and 1 getting medically evacuated.
People that signed up on the Tengaged website was asked to give their Username, Preferred Survivor Name (Some kind of first name), Age, Color Level, Timezone, and a couple of other answers to questions. Their Preferred Survivor Name is what goes on this wiki, and what goes on the intros.

Episode 1: "Time Will Tell"
Once the castaways arrived at the immunity challenge, they found out about the Phony Idol. Each tribe had 2 idols hid at each camp. 1 idol was real, and if played would make all vote cast toward the user void. 1 idol was phony, and if played did absolutely nothing for the person who played it. The castaways found out that there were clues as to which was fake and which was real. Each idol had letter engraved onto them. At the first immunity challenge, both tribes had tried to win. The challenge was close for a while, until the Galu tribe took a hefty lead. The Galu tribe seemed unstoppable when they won immunity.
Foa Foa was then going to be sent to tribal council. Dustin had to breifly leave the tribe due to family issues, which caused him to question whether he stayed or not, but he chose to stay. Erik had then concluded that his own tribe was very weak. The Game had concluded that the other tribe looked menacing and that Foa Foa would be picked off come merge. Zach B. thought that he was going to be targeted at the first tribal because of his inactivity, so he went searching for the idol on the Foa Foa beach.
Meanwhile on the Galu tribe, Dt had guessed he'd be voted out when and if the Galu tribe went to tribal because he was inactive. Scott delayed making an alliance because he didn't think his tribe was going to lose...ever. Kamika stated that she wasn't afraid of the boys on her tribe, and that Zoey was Galu's weakest link since she didn't show up at the challenge. Kamika was determined to play this game. Zach P, had decided that it was time to arrange an alliance in the Galu tribe, so he went and asked Austin and David if they'd align with him. Zach P. then stated that he wanted Scott out the first chance that came because he was a threat, but Austin disagreed and claimed that the first person to be voted out should be someone who drags them down. Austin stated that their alliance needed 3 more people. David then went on to find the phony Galu idol without any clue. David concluded that he was going to make it farther than most of the people on his tribe.
At tribal council, the tribe was very divided, and most came to the conclusion that the Foa Foa tribe was weak, or disorganized at this point. There was no telling who was getting voted out. In a very close 3-2-2-1-1 vote, Pundo was voted out of the tribe.
Episode 2: "Ah Geez"
At the next immunity challenge, the castaways had to do some grammar and unscramble words. The Galu tribe won immunity because of their skill. Foa Foa was going to tribal council yet again.
Dylan was looking for a way to convince people he was useful to the tribe. Clamp had then concluded that the Foa Foa tribe was awesome and that they'd run the Galu tribe into the ground from that point on. Erik then assumed the winner would be a Galu member if the Foa Foa kept losing. Zach B. claimed that the Foa Foa tribe was really disjointed. Dustin then went off to make alliances with Cochran and Clamp, to secure that he'd stay. The Game claims he was given an opportunity to an alliance, but there was no evidence that showed he had actually aligned with anyone. Clamp then went on to strategize as if the game was already an individual's game, and he said he would "wreck havoc". Then Cochran decided to search for the idol and had found the real hidden immunity idol. Clamp then went to search for the idol breifly to not find a thing.
Meanwhile on the Galu tribe Zach P. had decided to make his own search for the idol. He found the clue than shared it with his alliance of David and Austin. The clue was to the real idol. Jayson was sitting around on the beach while everyone else was doing work at camp. David decided not to share his idol with his new alliance. Dt claimed he was pissed and that he'd do better next time for the Galu tribe. Scott and Zach T. both assumed that they wouldn't need any alliances due to the fact of how the Galu tribe was winning on a land slide.
At tribal council it was not known who would be voted out of the Foa Foa tribe yet again. At tribal Dylan was voted out on a 4-2-2-1 vote. It had now seemed the tribe was coming together.
Episode 3: "I'd be Shocked"
At the next immunity challenge, Galu and Foa Foa were yet again evenly matched for a while. But, shockingly the Foa Foa tribe got ahead in a challenge of code. Foa Foa finally won immunity, and sent Galu to tribal council for the first time this season.
At camp, Zoey had been questioning her presence in the game because of the death of a family member, however she decided to stay. David went off to search for the other idol just in case he already obtained the fake one. David then went off to find the real idol, though he did not know it. David had turned his 3 people alliance into a 5 person alliance because Zach P. added Zoey and Riley to the 5 person alliance. Scott proceeded to not have any strategical move because he was pretty confident. Kamika then began to vote with Zach P's first opinion of Jayson.
Meanwhile at the Foa Foa beach they acted like they hadn't won in 50 years, they danced the whole night. The Game believed that he was playing Survivor correctly because he was searching for the idol after everyone was celebrating. Cochran decided to reveal to Dustin that he had obtained the hidden immunity idol. Dustin was feeling solid as he had many people on his side, and Cochran had trusted him enough to show him that he had an idol.
At tribal council many of the castaways tried to keep quiet about their plans, and tried to make everyone else assume they were voting for someone weak on their tribe. However, this became the first blindside of the game when Scott was voted out on a 6-1-1-1 vote.
Episode 4: "Decided to Jump Ship"
At the next immunity challenge, the tribes had to jump hurdles. The Foa Foa tribe took a huge lead and was away ahead of the Galu tribe. But the Galu tribe made an enormous recovery and raced their way to 1st place. During the challenge Zoey had told Clamp the nutcase, that Jayson was currently holding an idol. Clamp then proceeded to claim that Zach T. was most likely the leader of the Galu tribe. Foa Foa then was going to tribal council.
The Game was frantically searching for the idol even though his alliance had "appeared to be solid". The Game claimed that no one was to be trusted. Dustin began to work his magic further and talked with Erik for a long while, then proceeded to attempt to speak with Eli, but Eli avoided The Game. The Foa Foa tribe came to a consensus that Clamp had lost them the challenge.
Kamika was worried her tribe was thinking of voting her out at the next chance possible because she cost her tribe time in the challenge. Zach P, was satisfied with his blindside of Scott at the last tribal council and he thought that everyone would see him as a hero. David however was not so enthused by Scott leaving and wondered to himself if it was actually the right decision. David dwelled on what Zoey had told Clamp during the challenge and laughed because he held both idols in his possession. With this info David predicted that Jayson would be voted out because the tribe thought he had an idol in his possession.
At tribal council there was a huge conflict with the tribe, and Clamp decided to quit. But before he left, he tried to "spill the beans". Later he revealed why he quit, which he stated: "I'm sorry but yes, my heart's not in it".
Episode 5: "It's Not Luck"
At the next immunity challenge, Foa Foa was determined to win. 2 people from each tribe were required to chop down trees in a race. If they both chopped down 5 trees and ran back to the start line, then they scored a point for their tribe. The tribe to 3 points won immunity. It was very close, but Foa Foa failed to make a comeback yet again, meaning that Galu had won immunity.
The Game then went off to search for the idol with no luck yet. The tribe then came together and tried to discuss how they could do better at the challenges because they weren't doing so hot. Afterwards Zach B. presumed he was in danger so he went to go look for the idol.
At the Galu camp Kamika was getting worried about Clamp's supposed confessions of Jayson having an idol, as Kamika saw Jayson as a threat. Zach P. didn't care that he was being seen as a threat because he felt that he was the king of their whole alliance.
At tribal council there was yet again no clue who was to be voted out. The Foa Foa tribe then agreed they needed to become stronger. They had voted out Andy on a 4-1-1-1 vote.
Episode 6: "I'm Not Bitter"
At the next immunity challenge, Foa Foa took out a powerful blow to the Galu tribe when playing a game of "Fill in the Blank". It was a game of speed and knowledge. Zach P. had told the Foa Foa tribe that "they needed to win something". Dustin did not appreciate this comment. Galu was then sent to tribal council.
Austin noted that his alliance was going to split the votes between Dt and Jayson because Jayson was accused of having the idol and if he played it Dt would be going for sure. Kamika gladly wanted to vote for Jayson. David believed that the core part of the alliance was himself, Zach P, and Austin and that the other members would be picked off come merge time. He said that he'd "let" Zach P. think he's in charge so he had less of a target.
The Game continued to search for the idol, finding nothing. He hoped that Zach T. would be voted out soon because he thought that Zach T. was a threat. Erik thought that voting Andy out was the wrong decision, and he began to yell about how the game was no going his way.
At tribal council there was a question in the voting, but the Galu tribe seemed like they had made a decision together. On a 4-3-1-1 vote, Dt was voted out of the tribe. Strengthening the Galu tribe.
Episode 7: "I'm Worried"
At the next immunity challenge, the castaways were shocked to find out that they were playing for individual immunity and that both tribes were going to tribal council that night. The castaways had to test their luck and strategy in a game of poker. Dustin won immunity on the Foa Foa tribe. And Zach P. won immunity on the Galu tribe.
Austin thought he was screwed due to the false idea that Jayson had an idol, and was probably going to play it. He figured he's be voted out if Jayson and Zach T. were working together. Kamika started to talk about how stupid Cochran and Eli were, and how she was going to take them out come merge time. David then proceeded to trust Zach P. and Austin with the information of his 2 idols. This made Austin feel better, and made their alliance vote for Jayson.
At the Foa Foa camp The Game proceeded to search with no luck of finding the hidden idol. He believed that Dustin, and Zach B. would vote with him. Erik reveals that he threw the challenge because he knew he wouldn't be sent home anyways. Dustin then convinces everyone on the tribe to vote The Game, but people like Zach B. were heisitant to do so, and didn't feel it was right.
At tribal council both tribes had sent home castaways on a unanomous vote. Jayson was voted off of the Galu tribe on a 7-1 vote. And The Game was voted off of the Foa Foa tribe with a 5-1 vote.
Episode 8: "We Just Have to Hope"
At the next immunity challenge the tribes were told it was now time to merge! From now on, anyone being voted out will go to the jury. The jury then will help decide a winner. At the immunity challenge Dustin came out on top beating Zach P. and Erik in a close battle.
Kamika thought that her threat was Dustin and that he needed to be taken out at the next possible chance. The whole Galu tribe was thinking of voting for Zach B., and testing their own alliance. Zach B. knew he was going to be voted out, and frantically searched for the idol up until the last second. Cochran had admitted using the idol because he was going to join the Galu alliance, however Dustin was very mad at him for doing this. Riley decided to flip his vote for Zach T. the first time around. Erik thought that he was going to get voted out because he was a Foa Foa member and he came in 2nd in the challenge.
At tribal council many speculated that it was still Galu vs. Foa Foa and that a Foa Foa member would certainly be voted out that night. However, Dustin played an idol on Eli which did not make a difference and the votes were ties with 4 votes for Zach B., and 4 votes for Zach T. On the revote, Zach B. became the 1st member of the jury on a 6-4 vote.
Episode 9: "Help My Game"
At the next immunity challenge, it was announced that Tengaged would decide who won immunity. Some people decided to not even try in the challenge, while others believed their lives in the game were on the line. Dustin won immunity again proving to become a bigger challenge threat than before.
And by the talk of it, the Foa Foa tribe was being picked off, so Dustin's chances were looking slimmer. Austin started believing the game was so boring because his alliance was dominaining. Kamika proceeded to want Dustin gone, but she had heard from Dustin that Zach P. was going after her. Dustin told David that the old Foa Foa tribe was voting for Austin, but David wasn't sure whether or not to believe him. David then went and told Dustin that all of them were voting for Cochran for an attempt to get Dustin to play any potential idol he might havd had.
At tribal council the Galu tribe had seemed a little frazzled and a bit more unorganized, but Zach T. thought that his plan would then be put into place because Galu was a strong tribe. In the end, by a close vote Austin was voted out on a 4-3-1-1-1-1 vote. He became the 2nd member of the jury.
Episode 10: "I am Shocked"
At the next immunity challenge Dustin won in a competition that everyone else just sucked at.
At tribal council people were no longer thinking about strategy and allowed another Galu member to be voted out on a 4-2-2-1-1 vote. It appeared that alliances were dwindling. Zach P. was voted out and became the 4th member of the jury.
(There were no confessionals for this episode & they were given 2 days to vote).
Episode 11: "Flipped the Game"
At the next immunity challenge Dustin had lost his streak and Zach T. had proved he could swim his way to the top winning immunity.
Dustin was worrying that the Galu tribe, which still had 5 members, was going to target him for winning 4 individual immunities in a row. Dustin then believed that Foa Foa had a chance because of the Galu tribe beginning to fall. David tried to tell Dustin to vote for Kamika, but later he realized that he meant Zoey. Dustin tried to get David to vote with the old Foa Foa tribe, and was going to play his idol at tribal just in case.
At tribal council Dustin played his idol. This was not needed because the Galu tribe had evidently decided to vote out Cochran. While the Foa Foa tribe had decided to vote out Kamika. Zoey had then changed her mind and flipped to vote out Kamika. Kamika became the 5th jury member on a 5-2 vote.
Episode 12: "You Never Know"
At the next immunity challenge the castaways had played a game of the "Red torch" passing it to the next person until a certain time limit where at the end of the time, the person holding it would be eliminated. Cochran ended up winning against David's strategy in the challenge.
Zoey couldn't believe that she was still in the show. David had decided that Riley and Erik were idiots because they were sticking with Dustin, or so David thought Riley was. David believed that Riley had flipped on Kamika, not Zoey. Dustin knew David was going to try to get him out, so he spent all day searching for the idol. David had found the last real one, making him hold 2 real idols, and 1 phony idol. Erik believed that if Foa Foa stuck together, then they could make it to the end.
At tribal council David had a small feeling that he would be voted out. This was the last tribal council idols could be played, so Dustin played an idol, however it was a phony idol and did not void any votes against him. To many other's surprise David pulled out 3 idols, playing 1 on himself, 1 on Zach T., and 1 on Zoey. The idol that was played on Zoey was a phony, while the other 2 were real. This saved David from getting voted out, and Dustin was voted out on a 4-4 vote because of the idol. He became the 6th jury member. Zoey then was medically evacuated minutes later, and did not join the jury.
Episode 13: "Where it Takes Me"
At the next immunity challenge the castaways had to "Vote with the majority" and give their opinions on some questions. Then they had to guess what the majority said. In a tiebreaker question, Eli won immunity for the first time this season.
David proceeded to think that Riley flipped and voted out Kamika, so he didn't trust Riley, but Riley was just following David the whole time. Zach T. had planned on winning immunity, but he was confident that he wasn't the target at that point. The rest of the Foa Foa tribe had told David that they were voting for Zach T. and multiple people had been telling David that Riley was a flipper. David was confident it was Zach T, himself, and Cochran vs. Erik, Eli, and Riley. David was wishing Zoey wasn't medically evacuated because he knew that the vote would be tied.
There were now only 6 castaways left going into tribal council. The first vote came out to a tie with 3 votes for David, and 3 votes for Erik. The 2nd vote also came to a tie 2 votes for David and 2 votes for Erik. Since the vote tied twice, all of the castaways (but Eli) had to draw rocks. Whoever held the purple rock became the 7th member of the jury and was eliminated. It turned out David held the Purple Rock. He was eliminated.
Episode 14: "Betrayed the Friendship"
At the next immunity challenge the castaways had to test their knowledge in "The Game's History". Erik and Zach T. came close to each other with 3 points and 4 points (while it took 5 points to win) and Zach T. won immunity for a 2nd time this season.
At camp Riley noted how he was glad that David was gone, even though he didn't vote for him. Zach T. knew he was going to be perceived as a floater that wins challenges, so he tried to make a move by voting out Erik.
At tribal council Cochran refused to say who was most elidgible to be the "flipper" for who was left on the Foa Foa tribe. He privately told Logan that he thought Eli was the one who would be most likely to flip. He didn't want to "ruin" his game. In the end Riley was voted out on a 3-2 vote and became the 8th jury member.
Episode 15: "Sit Back Like a Jerk"
At the final immunity challenge people had to pass the flamed torch and run to the end of a line to eliminated another player. Zach T. eliminated every single player and won immunity for one last time making him the only Galu tribe member to make it to the final 3.
At tribal council Erik had been worried that he would be voted out on a whim, but he didn't give up hope. Zach T. had tried to get Erik to vote out Eli, and get Eli and Cochran to vote out Erik. Erik decided he'd vote for Eli whether Zach T. wanted him to or not. To convince Eli and Cochran to vote for Erik Zach T. had called Eli and Cochran floaters, and told them that this was their last chance to make a move. Then Erik went to tell Cochran to vote for Eli, and Eli to vote for Cochran so he could have the last say. In the end Eli was voted out on a 2-1-1 vote and became the final jury member.
Episode 16: "Finale & Reunion"
The final 3 was now Zach T, Erik, and Cochran. Many of the jury members were so mad due to the fact that they believed that none of the final 3 deserved to be there. Especially Zach P. who made it a point that all of the good players were voted out into the jury. Zach T, had been noted most deservable to win based solely on the fact of his challenge wins AFTER Dustin was voted out. None of the jurors had thought that any of these 3 finalists had any strategy.
The biggest question was who flipped and voted out Kamika? Everyone was shocked to find out that Zoey hadn't been with the Galu tribe after the merge and that Riley had actually stayed true to David. According to the jurors Cochran had made no sense in any of his speeches, and many of the jurors were mean to Erik saying that he floated his whole way to the finals. Some said that they were voting for Zach T. because he at least won a challenge versus Erik who hadn't. In the end Zach T. won on a 6-2 vote becoming the 2nd season winner.
Phony Idol Twist:
At each camp there were 2 hidden immunity idols hid. 1 was a real idol, that if played would make any votes cast against a castaway not count. 1 was a fake idol, the if played would not do anything to the votes cast against a castaways. The castaways had 1 clue to figure out if an idol was phony or real. There were letters engraved on the idols (P or F for fake, R for real). The twist was retired when hidden immunity idols were no longer in play.
~This twist was used in a different Survivor Series as well, QueenSheeba's Survivor: Burma, giving credit to the original twist in Samoa.
~This twist was revamped and returned for LoganWorm's Survivor: Nicaragua for a 2nd appearance in the series.
