Janelle's X Factor is an American television music competition to find new singing talent. The fourth season premiered on January 30th 2013.
Based on the TV show format, the competition consists of auditions, in front of producers and then the judges with a live audience, bootcamp, judges' houses, and then the live finals.
Judges and hosts[]
Season 4 saw a shake up in the judging panel, Janelle_Pierzina, Josh51 and Mybash_ returned to the panel and BigBruv was introduced as a full time judge after filling in towards the end of season 3. This season also saw the return of ThomasSwift to the panel after a one season hiatus. This was the first season to have 5 judges on the panel at any one time.

Auditions[]
Prior to the judges' auditions stage applications were held for people to participate as an act in the seventh season. The auditions were then held over 6 different days with each judge deciding whether or not to put them through to the next round. This was also the only season to feature auditions from outside the United States.
