Survivor: Scorched Earth is the seventh season of Obscurity's Survivor. The season marks the return of Obscurity's Survivor after a prolonged hiatus that began with the conclusion of the well-received All-Stars season eight months ago. Although not the start of a new generation, Scorched Earth kicks off an era of the series characterized by new twists, new players, stronger themes, original logos, and a new hosting style.
Over 35 players applied to this season, of which only 18 were chosen to make up the final cast.
In the end, Jera defeated Alessandra and JeriBeth by a vote of 4-3-0 and claimed the title of Sole Survivor.

- "Scorched Earth" twist: Scorched earth is “a military strategy which involves destroying anything that might be useful to the enemy while advancing through or withdrawing from an area.” The castaways were divided into three tribes of six each, with one tribe winning immunity every round. This winning tribe would then go to Tribal Council where they vote out one of the people from one of the opposing (losing) tribes. They can vote for anyone on either of the two losing tribes, which means that we could potentially see votes for players from two different tribes at the same tribal council. Whoever receives the most votes is voted out just like in any regular game of Survivor. If the vote tied, there would be no revote; instead, the winning tribe would have to draw rocks to see who would be eliminated from the game.
- "Slash-and-burn" twist: Slash-and-burn is "an agricultural technique that involves the cutting and burning of plants in forests or woodlands to create fields." As an extension of the scorched earth twist, the slash-and-burn twist simply states that the tribe that didn't have a player voted out of their tribe by the winning tribe (i.e. "burned") would have a disadvantage at the next immunity challenge (i.e. "slashed").
- "Class Warfare" twist: First seen in All-Stars (known as the "profession" twist), everyone in the game was placed in a side group, or "class." There were 3 classes, each with six people (two from each tribe): cavalry, artillery, and infantry. The two classes with the least amount of players remaining in them at the Final 12 round would go to a joint tribal council to vote off two players in succession (two separate TCs). This event would mark the official end of the "scorched earth" and "slash-and-burn" twists.
